How to request tax information on SanPort

The annual tax season starts on 1 July 2019 – the first day for completing SARS income tax returns.

The tax season runs from July to November every year and for provisional taxpayers who submit via eFiling, it runs until January the next year.

The SPF Client Care Centre (CCC) experiences high volumes of requests for contribution certificates every year, placing normal service delivery under pressure.

This year, the distribution dates for the annual benefit statements and tax information stretch from 15 May to 31 July 2019. With this in mind, the tax information will only be available and shared with SARS during this period.

This is where we need your help. If your client requires tax information after these dates, you can avoid the queues by using alternative ways of obtaining the information. Don’t forget that efficient and effective self-help services are available to you on SanPort at the click of a button.
